Deck Primer

Fair warning to anyone wanting to try out this deck, its a bit inconsistent but it's good fun, and it's really good when you get a good hand and set up going.

Setting Up:

On the first turn, try to get a Corviknight and Zacian down; if you can get Bronzor out, even better. Attach energy if you can and use Zacian's ability to draw more cards and hopefully accelerate energy. If you manage to accelerate energy with Zacian or with metal Saucer, then evolve Bronzor into Bronzong and use Metal transfer

If you manage to accelerate energy with Zacian or with metal Saucer, then evolve Bronzor into Bronzong and use Metal transfer to move energy to Corviknight. (Note: You can't attach the special energy with Zacian's ability but you CAN transfer it with Bronzong.) Evolve Corviknight V to VMAX and attach Memory Capsule if possible. The reason you want to have memory capsule is because Corviknight VMAX has G-Max Hurricane that does 240 damage, however, the description states that it can't use G-Max Hurricane next turn. With memory capsule, we can use Corviknight V's attack that does 190 right after since the description doesn't state that Corviknight cannot attack next turn, it just can't use that specific attack.  (Note: If your opponent is running VMAX Pokemon or they don't have a V that you can easily one-shot, then I recommend using the 190 damage attack FIRST, that way, if your opponent uses tool scrapper, you can still attack next turn using the G-Max Hurricane.)  This way, it's possible to deal massive damage. If you can't get Memory Capsule, you cant try retreating your active Corviknight, and placing another Corviknight on the active, and just use metal transfer.

Other things to note about the deck:

-If you want to heal use metal transfer to move energy to a basic pokemon or an evolved pokemon that has no damage counter, then use Cheryl and transfer the energy back to your attacker.

-Do not be afraid to use Professor's Research. This deck cannot find cards reliably so you will have to be very aggressive. Even if your hand has cards that could be extremely useful later in the game, such as Cheryl or Boss's Orders, discard that hand if it isn't useful to you at that specific instance. The deck has Pal pad and Ordinary Rod to mitigate this, also those cards will be of no use later in the game if you can't even survive for that long because of your awful hand.

-Coating Metal Energy is just to survive against Fire pokemon. Fire Pokemon are a much bigger threat to this deck simply because Corviknight is a VMAX, not a V. If this deck was a deck like Zacian/Zamazenta in which all your pokemon are V and not VMAX, then it makes a lot more sense to run all basic energy and no Coating Metal energy, the reason being that Fire pokemon in the current meta hit so damn hard that it makes no difference if you have a weakness or not, they will still one-shot a V. However, with a VMAX its a different story. Since Corviknight is a VMAX, it can easily shrug off 220 damage, especially with crystal cave, Cheryll, and Bronzong. But, if your opponent has a fire pokemon, you are doomed no matter what since every single pokemon you have is a 2 or 3 prize card one-shot. Trust me, I played a tournament in which I only had 1 coating metal energy on the deck and it turns out that 4 decks were playing fire pokemon that day, and the only one I was thankfully paired with had Fan of Waves which instantly shut me down. So yeah, run 2 Coating Metal Energy, you'll thank me later.

-Because of Corviknight VMAX's ability, Quick Shooting Inteleon doesn't affect it.

-Attach Air Ballon to Zacian and Bronzong as soon as possible. The reason is that people playing against this deck like to do an epic troll funny gamer move™ and Boss's Order your Zacian or Bronzong to the Active which is a massive pain if you don't have a lot of energy in play or don't have Air Balloon on hand. If you can't find a way to move that Bronzong without negatively impacting yourself, just take the L, leave Bronzong there, use Intrepid sword and let your opponent have a free turn.

Thank you for taking the time to explain your thought process when building this deck. It helps alot for beginners, like myself to understand why the cards were chosen and how to use them.
