Opening Suggestions: The focus on turn 1 should be to search the deck to confirm the number of Duraludon VMax you have at your disposal, we run 3 to hopefully guarantee at least 2 are available in most match-ups, and prepare an Arceus V to power up your bench in subsequent turns. I would not recommend putting more than 1 Duraludon V on the bench in your initial turn (1 or 2), rather I would wait until your second turn and use a Single-Strike Mustard to directly load a second Duraludon VMax. 

Strategy: Use Arceus VStar as your big hitter for as long as possible. If your opponent is forced to knock out it first, then you are already at an advantage for the remainder of the game as they now need to knock out 2 VMax Pokemon to win from there. When in situations such as a Goodra VStar match-up, you need to carefully plan when to pivot into Duraludon VMax to optimize your chances of removing one from the opponent's heavy hitter(s) from play (Karen's Conviction is an excellent supporter for these situations). Duraludon VMax will be your finisher 98% of the time with this deck, so be careful with your energy distribution to guarantee you can power both up.
