Deck Primer

I really like the Eeveelutions in the games so I figured I'd try making a single prize deck based around them, Its a first draft so things will need to be rebalanced later on. The idea is to have most types covered and making use of reversal energy to hopefully take down some 2 prize cards of the opponent as well as xatu draw and energy acceleration engine. I will have to see which eeveelutions perform best, but I included at least one of each type so far which is why glaceon is missing at the moment.

With dragons having no weakness I figured Sylveon would be a decent addition might cut espeon completely, but this deck will need a bit more testing before I can decide any of that.

 

Any suggestions and feedback are welcome.

I feel like this Deck needs a lot more work, but has potential.

 

Its just sad, leafeon is not really that great if it had the same attack as vaporeon,flareon,jolteon it would be a lovely counter for all the zards around. 180 from grass is most dark types nightmare, but it kinda has the worst attack of them all 120 and no attack the next turn.

I feel Espeon has some potential cuz it's first attack. You can run a grapejaw bog a Hawlucha (Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos)  a rad alakazam or rad blastoise and even a Starmie (Paldean Fates) . But that would be a whole other deck. The next best eeveelution is syiveon because the first attack is a ok search attack letting you search for fundamental cards to help set up play. Plus it's a good counter to giritina vstar and noivern ex. But since both of them are psychic the also counter some fighting type decks. Idk about the other eeveelutions tho.

Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon doing 180 to V and EX is great and certainly can onehit some if they hit weakness, leafeon feels kinda meh it would need Supereffective Glasses (Astral Radiance) to deal with most dark types that are currently being used. Umbreon is kinda similar to leafeon, but it feels like its 2 attacks are just slightly better def. can deal with a Mew ex (Paldean Fates) for example and hitting 50 anywhere for 1 energy is not bad to finish of something or set it up for espeon. Sylveon's search is neat, but the other attack really only helps against some single prize dragons most others I would just hit with one of the original 3.

Evn I feel like if I wanted to build a deck like you mentioned around Espeon I'd rather use Lokix (Paradox Rift) 40 per damage counter scales so much better only need like 50 damage to already beat anything below 50+210=260HP where espeon would knock only anything below 50+80=130. I feel like Supereffective Glasses (Astral Radiance) might help the deck a bit, but usually if you hit weakness with anything but leafeon and espeon it will get knocked out anyways. Reason my sylveon is not that great is giritina vstar and noivern ex would take the same damage from vaporeon, flareon and jolteon 180 for all of them. The only reason sylveon might be better against dragons would be single price dragons like Koraidon (Temporal Forces) kinda miss the fairy type and dragon's actually having a weakness.
