Deck Primer

The idea behind this deck is to just make sure the opponent cant keep any energy attached to their pokemon.

Mawile is the ideal starter because she has a low cost, guaranteed energy removal and the ability to find and put any 2 pokemon onto the bench when the opponent doesnt have any energy to attack so you can build up anyone you want.

Lycanroc GX can remove an energy from the active Pokemon just by evolving on the bench. Rhyperior and Mega Lucario are meant to be the heavy hitters

Lycanroc GX can remove an energy from the active Pokemon just by evolving on the bench. Rhyperior and Mega Lucario are meant to be the heavy hitters and honorable mention to Tornadus GX who's Wild Fury attack can get pretty high if he gets a few heads on his coin flips.

Team Flare Grunt is a guaranteed removal for a supporter card, and all of the VS Seeker cards were intended for getting 4 more Team Flare Grunts to double the number in the deck.

Tyrunt and Archen can only be put into play by Research Lab, so that's why there is a Guzma & Hala. I found using actual Unidentified Fossil to be unreliable. But it's well worth the investment to evolve into Tyrantrum because if you can activate his Tyranical Heart ability his crunch will do 160 damage and he gets a 30 damage shield each round making him very devastating. While Archeops gets a 1 energy cost crunch attack and a free retreat attack.

Lysandre is there to make sure they dont hide and build up stuff on the bench, and then worst case scenario if they do, use Guzma to switch into Tornadus GX and use his GX ability to wipe out all their energy in 1 attack.

Worst case senario if you dont end up needing Tornadus to remove energy from 1 opponent, Lycanroc's GX attack will do an insane 30 damage TIMES the number of energy you've put in your opponents discard pile, which, by mid game should be enough to 1 hit KO most non VMax Pokemon.
