The bread and butter of this Base-Neo deck is the combo of Dark Magneton and Dark Espeon:
You get Dark Magneton into your active position, and start stripping and moving energies onto your opponent's benched Pokemon - ideally from a Pokemon with a high Retreat Cost, until your opponent doesn't have or doesn't want to put any more energy out onto their active.

Then Dark Magneton will either get KO'ed or you can use a Switch to put out Dark Espeon and start Psysplashing them - doing little to no damage
