The dek code be better as Cofagrigus matches up better plus if KO u can grab any card plus cheaper on energies
PuR3 interesting idea, but i don't wanna get KO'd. with farigiraf ex against basic exs
Timetrav3l3r true but most will have Zara or outher
mimikyu??
duck fool sure, wynaut?
mimikyu is good for this deck tho
I Think it will be that Trick or Trade Mimikyu
ohk
This deck is stuck here too now
yup
Nooooo, we want a new deck of the day
Awesome deck!
we got a competitor for deck of the week
This is too annoying
at this point, they don't care about deck of the week and day
Why did this deck become popular ?
Nocruor0 just like how that stonjourner was deck of the week for like a millennia, this deck, has been deck of the day for a millennia
I hate this😡😡
We must overthrow the deck so of the day and week
i feel at this point they just don't care
Anyone still remember this?
I want to try this lol
I'd probably cut the Mimikyu and the Tulip personally; Mimikyu does what Farigiraf does, but a little better and a little worse (blocks ALL exes and Vs, but at a much lower health pool and a much slower damage output). I'll see if Espathra can already do the heavy lifting where you'd use Mimikyu instead (think Thorns, Regidrago, Pult, etc.). Tulip doesn't really recover much in this deck; just the Basics and the Psychic energies. If you're in a position where you can safely play a Tulip, I think you've already won that game.
I'd try to include 1-2 copies of Farigiraf TWM; not only does it allow us to go toe-to-toe versus one-prize attackers like Drifloons and Cincinnos, but it also allows us to hit through Cornerstone (which, otherwise, we're reliant on Mew to handle). I don't think you'll be hitting that 240 max output super consistently, but, hey, it's important to have outs where you can.
metallicagod Will see if i can update some stuff for Stellar Crown.
Timetrav3l3r So I've been playing this archetype for an extended period of time.
I've actually decided to use LDF's list as a base because I like it a lot better. Here's what I was using for SFA, moving into SCR:
Pokémon: 10
1 Manaphy CRZ-GG 6
2 Girafarig TEF 66
4 Xatu PAR 72
1 Flittle PAR 80 PH
2 Flittle PAR 80
3 Espathra ex PAF 6
1 Flittle SVI 100
4 Natu PAR 71
1 Farigiraf ex TEF 108
1 Farigiraf TWM 84
Trainer: 15
2 Earthen Vessel SFA 96
4 Ultra Ball PLF 122
1 Super Rod bw6-5 20
2 Boss's Orders LOR-TG 24
1 Night Stretcher SFA 61
1 Pokémon League Headquarters OBF 192 PH
4 Professor's Research CEL 24
1 Prime Catcher TEF 157
1 Rigid Band MEW 165
4 Buddy-Buddy Poffin TWM 223
1 Pokémon League Headquarters OBF 192
1 Morty's Conviction TEF 201
4 Iono PAL 254
2 Nest Ball SVI 255
1 Rescue Board TWM 225
Energy: 1
10 Basic {P} Energy GEN 79 PH
Total Cards: 60
Once again, Farigiraf-ex makes the cut. Super useful card, but only into specific matchups that Espathra can't reliably cover (Bolt is the big one, but you occasionally find a stray Chien-Pao or Future Box). I've gone down to just one because I slotted in a Farigiraf TWM instead; it's essentially a pretty good out versus Mimikyu.
I'll go ahead and meniton here that I like Girafarig TEF better than Girafarig CRZ; CRZ is a little better in bricking scenarios, but I've had TEF take a 2HKO once or twice after an Espathra softened up an opponent. I think it comes down to preference here honestly.
I've went ahead and turbo'd out the Supporter lineup, with an added Morty's (because I couldn't put a better Draw supporter in ngl). 4-4 Iono/Research is super consistent, and, with all the Area Zero running around, I think Morty's is really gonna shine.
4-4 Xatu over more gimmicky Draw options like Mew and Greninja feels pretty good as well. It also helps that, if we prize 2 Natu or Xatu, we're not hard-capped at just one Xatu for the majority of the game. More Xatu means more draw and stronger Espathra swings.
Probably the only thing I'm debating on adding to the above is Cleffa. I've had some bricky openers that I feel would've been solved if I had just a few extra cards (and a sacrifical lamb). Sure, Pult is still a bit of a problem, but now that Gardy's fallen off a bit, I'm not super scared of Munki plays pinging away Cleffa too soon.
I don't think we got a ton of Espathra options in Stellar Crown (except for a new 50HP Flittle), but I would definitely have a playset of Morty's close by. A lot of new and old archetypes alike benefit from a bigger bench that we can abuse by drawing extra cards.
Let me know what y'all think. Cheers!
