Deck Primer

Ethan's Typhlosion proves that single prize decks can still work which is quite nice to see.

Strategy: I'd recommend to go second with this deck as you can use either Budew's Itchy Pollen that turn it to use TM: Evolution. Anyways, during your First Turn, you should attempt to get out 2-3 Ethan's Cyndaquil's, 1-2 Dreepy's, and Budew (optional, only useful if you plan to use it item-lock your Opponet). You could also get out either Shaymin or Iron Bundle if you added them in. Ethan's Adventure finds

Ethan's Adventure finds you your Ethan's Pokémon and Basic Fire Energy up to a combination of 3, which is quite helpful and can be found via Ethan's Quilava, which has the Ability, Bonded by the Journey. Though, you can also discard Ethan's Adventure via Vessel, Secret Box (unless you already used it), Professor's Research, and Ultra Ball when you don't need to use Ethan's Adventure. Artazon is in the Early Game as it can find you your Basic Non-Rulebox Pokémon which can found via Secret Box, the ACE SPEC of choice, which functions as this deck's main engine as it finds you an Item card, a Supporter card, a Tool card, and a Stadium card. Drakloak is the main draw support/engine for this deck and is especially helpful since it is a single prize Pokémon. Victini increases your Evolution Fire Type Pokémon's damage by 10 which is helpful at taking KO's on Higher HP Pokémon.

Air Balloon was gained from White Flare which can give your Pokémon basically Free Retreat for whichever Pokémon you attach it to making that Pokémon a decent pivot or to get a damaged Typhlosion out of the Active Spot. Brave Bangle also gained from White Flare, makes your Non-Rulebox Pokémon deal 30 more Damage to ex Pokémon which is really helpful against High HP decks/Stage Two Decks or Stage One decks with 300 HP. Furthermore, Gravity Mountain can help take KO's against Stage Two ex Pokémon though it does decrease Typloshion's HP as well, though most decks will one shot Ethan's Typloshion anyways so it's not really a downside. Picnic Basket helps against spread decks such as Marnie's Grimmsnarl ex & Froslass and pretty much any Dragapult ex deck. Redeemable Ticket replaces your Prize Cards with the top many cards of your deck to replace that many prize cards you have remaining, which can be helpful if you prized away any important card.

There's not much more I can explain about this deck as it should be quite easy to pilot anyways, so feel free to make any changes, ask any questions, or to leave any suggestions!

CTC: The cards that I would recommend to add in as an alternative will be sorted into a list with a brief description, if there are any cards in this list or any cards you wish to add in of your own ideas/thoughts, cut out any cards you don't fit your preferences, with this being said, here is the list:

- 1-1 N's Zoroark ex Line - Provides Draw Support with Trade, alternative to the 3-3 Drakloak Line.

- 2(either 50 or 60 HP)-2(Free Retreat)-2 Pidgeot ex Line - Alternative to the Drakloak Engine.

- 1 Shaymin (DRI) - Provides Bench Barrier to your Non-Rulebox Pokémon from Snipe Damage (excluding Damage Counters).

- 1 Iron Bundle - Provides decent Gust.

- 3rd Professor's Research - Makes it more consistent for you to get bigger hand sizes.

- 2nd Night Stretcher - Provides more recovery.

- 2nd Super Rod - Provides even more recovery.

- 1 Sacred Ash - Recovers 5 Pokémon.

- 2nd TM: Evolution - More consistent at evolving your Pokémon during your First Turn.

- 2nd Gravity Mountain - Alternative to the 1 Artazon.

That concludes the CTC (Cards to Consider) section, so feel free to do whatever you wish with this deck and to have a good day!
