Expanded Palkia is BACK!

Wow, after (sort of) reprinting one of the best cards to benefit Palkia VSTAR, it may be able to take its place as a main attacker and not be demoted to Plan B like it is now. If you're wondering what that is, they reprinted Sky Field (Roaring Skies) , but it just has the condition of the player requiring a Tera Pokémon in play to get the extended bench. So, in this deck, Calamitous Snowy Mountain is just a placeholder for that new stadium. And like last time, Colress's Experiment will be replaced by Colress's Tencacity, a supporter that lets you search for an Energy and Stadium card. 

Okay, so, with a bench of 8 on your own, Palkia VSTAR is dealing 220 damage, which is quite the hefty number to begin with for a two-energy attack. But with Accompanying Flute, you can force Pokémon onto your opponent's bench no problem! It's no Captivating Poké Puff (Steam Siege) or anything, but it'll get the job done. The stadium card requires a Tera Pokémon in play to activate, so my Tera Pokémon of choice is Wellspring Ogerpon ex! It can be immediately charged up with Star Portal to snipe the opponent, but otherwise it's mainly in here as the catalyst for Area Zero Underdepths (the upcoming Stadium card). Chien-Pao ex is a backup attacker here, as well as a method to search for more energy. Don't rely on it, though, as this deck doesn't have any real acceleration due to it being built around a two-cost attack.

The other card that may stand out to you is the Noctowl line. In the upcoming set, it has an ability identical to Inteleon (Sword & Shield), provided that you have a Tera Pokémon in play. Shady Dealings was among the most broken of draw engines, so having it back in a situation where it's natural is amazing. I'm using the Stand Entry Hoothoot intentionally because it can tech against the odd Crushing Hammer. However, I may change it to the 70 HP one because of Dragapult. 

Scoop Up Cyclone is my ACE SPEC of choice here to emulate how the Inteleon engine functioned with Scoop Up Net (Rebel Clash), and using your ACE SPEC as an effective free search for two trainer cards I find worth it. Not only that, but you can play it to reuse Lumineon V, and heal your Palkia VSTARs! 

Lastly, I'm not sure if I have too many Pokémon in this deck, so I'll have to test it out to see if it needs any tweaking. Have fun!
