I actually remember maining something like this back in early SM era(when I was dum, still kinda am) bc I saw someone else I fought use it and thought it was fun. The cards were easy trades too bc nobody wanted most of the tech used. (the good old days of trading on PTCGO, sigh) Volcanion is honestly so satisfying to use lmao. I later ran it with ADP bc of the synergy with damage boosts.

ur gonna have a VERY tough time finding energy, I only know bc I main gouging fire rn and even with 4 Giant hearth and 3 Fiery flint and 9 energy in deck I still have trouble finding energy bc I just need so many. 

I don't know how much pluspower actually helps, personally I'd rather make volcanion more consistent than use this bc 1 volcanion = 3 pluspowers.

too much emphasis on scooping maybe. There may be smth I'm missing but the only uses I see are reusing Volcanion, mostly useless healing, removing/reusing dedenne/squawk, and of course, switching. Too much of an investment to have 4 supers and taking up your ace spec? again, I could be missing smth. 

To hit 280 you need the belt and 2 Volcanion. Setting up belt is good with GandH and synergizes with ADP also when you tag call. You'll prob add float stone bc of this strat too which greatly benefits switching bc currently your only switch options are manual and scooping.
