Deck Primer

Got quite a few buffs from Black Bolt and White Flare.

Strategy: I'd suggest going second with this deck to try and pull off a TM: Evolution, though, going first is fine as well. Anyways, on your first turn, attempt to get out 3-4 Applins, 1-2 Grookeys, 1 Rellor (optional, only useful against spread decks), and any card you want to get out like Goldeen or Shaymin.

Then, you should try and use TM: Evolution to evolve your Pokémon like 1 Dipplin and Thwackey or 1 Rabsca. Seaking helps provide Early Game draw support while dealing decent damage. It should be easy to get out these Pokémon due to the ACE SPEC of choice, Precious Trolley, which basically gets out your whole entire board, and it can be found by Arven, which Arven can be found by Pokégear if you're lucky. Though, Precious Trolley can also be found via your starting hand or being lucky to find it from Professor's Research. Shaymin provides a bench barrier to your Non-Rulebox Pokémon by blocking Snipe Attacks (excluding Damage Counters), and Rabsca blocks both Damage and Effects of attacks done to your Benched Pokémon, which is really helpful as Shaymin blocks damage from attacks such as Wellspring Mask Ogerpon ex's Torrential Pump, so you can protect your Rellor before it evolves into Rabsca.

Thwackey's Ability, Boom-Boom Groove, allows you to find any card from your deck to then put it into your hand as long as the Pokémon in the Active Spot has the Festival Lead Ability, which combines well with Goldeen/Seaking in the Early Game and Dipplin later on in the game. Kieran allows your Pokémon to deal 30 more Damage to ex Pokémon or to act as a switch card, and Brave Bangle, gained from White Flare, allows you to deal 30 more Damage to ex Pokémon as long it's attached to a Non-Rulebox Pokémon, which makes getting KO's with Dipplin much more effective.

Furthermore, Air Balloon, gained from Black Bolt, allows many of your Pokémon to get Free Retreat to act as a pivot or to get a trapped Pokémon out of the Active Spot. Rillaboom can help when you run out of Festival Lead Pokémon and can make your Thwackey become an Attacker, which Rillaboom has a decent stall attack and an attack that can deal decent damage. If you attach Brave Bangle to Rillaboom, Drum Beating will deal 90 while Wood Hammer can deal 210 damage to ex Pokémon. That's all for the strategy section, so feel free to make changes, ask any questions, or to leave any suggestions! I also apologize if the strategy section isn't well explained like my other decks.

CTC: The cards that I'd recommend to add in as an alternative will be sorted into a list with a brief description, if there are any cards within that list or any cards you wish to add in from your own thoughts/ideas, cut out any cards you don't find needed, with that being said, here is the list:

- 2 more Grass Applins (Any) - Alternative to the Dragon Type Applin's.

- 2 more Dragon Applins (TWM) - Alternatiev to the 2 Grass Applin's.

- 1 more Grookey and Thwackey - Provides more consitency.

- 2-2 Seaking Line (Festival Lead) - Increases the 1-1 Line to a 2-2 Line for more consistency and to take advantage of Festival Grounds more.

- 2 Hydrapples (DRI) - Brings in a backup Attacker for the lategame to OHKO Pokémon by discarding 6 Grass Energies.

- 1 Petilil (BB) and 1 Lilligant (JTG) - Allows your Grass Pokémon to do 20 more Damage.

- 1 Budew - Provides Early Game stall with Itchy Pollen.

- 1 Cleffa (OBF) - Provides Early Game draw support with Grasping Draw.

- 1 more Black Belt's Training - Alternative to Kieran.

- 1 more Kieran - Alternative to Black Belt's Training.

- 2 Carmine's - Makes going first a bit better, alternative to the 2 Professor's Research.

- 1 Hilda - Finds you an Evolution Pokémon and an Energy.

- Colress's Tenacity - Finds Festival Grounds and an Energy.

- 2 more Buddy-Buddy Poffins - Needed if you cut Precious Trolley, finds your Basic Pokémon with 70 HP or less.

- 2 more Bug Catching Sets - Needed if you cut out Trolley and especially helpful if you replace the 2 Dragon Applins with 2 more Grass Type Applins.

- 2nd Super Rod - Alternative to Night Stretcher.

- 1 Rare Candy - Evolves your Applin or Grookey into either Hydrapple or Rillaboom instantly.

- 1 Pal Pad - Recovers your Supporter Cards back into your deck.

- Maximum Belt - Alternative ACE SPEC choice, cut out 1 Brave Bangle as well when this is added in.

- 8-9 total Basic Grass Energies - Useful if Hydrapple is added in.

This concludes the CTC (Cards to Consider) section, feel free to do whatever you want this deck and have a good day!

Edits:

Edit #1: I somehow did not notice that I didn't have Rabsca in this deck, I had fixed that by cutting the third Iono that was not supposed to be in this deck. I was too tired when releasing this deck so that's probably how I missed that, I apologize to everyone for the inconvenience.

Edit #2: I just now realized that I added in another Rabsca, this has been removed for the 3rd Iono. I apologize for the second inconvenience for this deck, I will make sure I double check to make sure any changes made doesn't have any accidental changes so the deck can remain as decent as possible for you guys!

Edit #3: Cut out the 3rd Iono for a 2nd TM: Evolution, and cut out 1 Kieran for 1 Black Belt's Training.

The CTC section will be added soon.

The description has been finished!

Pe7son avatar

If you have Rellor where is the Rabsca?

LimeLemon avatar

Pe7son I accidentally removed Rabsca for the third Iono, so yes I did accidentally forget to notice that.

LimeLemon avatar

Dittorules1  Ryoka22 I accidentally forgot to add Rabsca back into this deck, but it had been fixed now, in appologize for the inconvenience.

Pe7son avatar

I just want to know what's the other Rabsca for?

LimeLemon avatar

Pe7son I just noticed that the other Rabsca not too long ago after I concluded testing for an upcoming deck, thank you for pointing out that second mistake I made in this deck as well, the change has already been made to fix it though! Have a good day!

1 TM evo is crazy for a deck like this

tu necesitas dos TM evo

-1 Kieran

also why not Black Belt Training it's +80 damage w/ festival lead

deckdex avatar

also guys don't dislike constructive feedback that's just disrespectful and makes the atmosphere negative. please be kind in the comments

LimeLemon avatar

deckdex You probably are right for a 2nd TM: Evolution being needed, which can easily replace the 3rd Iono that is in this deck, Black Belt's Training does allow you to deal 40 more Damage to Pokémon ex, while yes that is arguably better, I prefer Kieran over Black Belt's Training due to the pivot Kieran can provide by being able to get out a Pokémon in the Active Spot as well instead of just dealing more Damage. Though, making Kieran and Black Belt's Training a 1-1 Split would probably be better. Thank you for your feedback and have a good day!

avatar

LimeLemon You should try adding colress's tenasity do u can easily look for festival grounds.

Btw ur decks r W

Pe7son avatar

You could cut the Rillaboom for something else but you can keep it.

LimeLemon avatar

Pe7son Cutting Rillaboom could potentially add in another useful card, but I personally found Rillaboom to very helpful in many scenarios. Besides that, thank you for your feedback, I greatly appreciate it!

LimeLemon avatar

Nitrogen7776 Colress's Tenacity could actually be really useful in this deck. Thank you for your comment and for your support, I greatly appreciate it!
