If you really want speed use Salvatore instead Carmine. He allows to skip having to wait before evolving after placing down.

Salvatore won't work since all stage 1 Pokemon have abilities.
I tested this deck on PTCGL and it actually works so well

Intresting, looks very consistint. I think I would still try and fit at least one rilaboom for options.
You might want to replace Pokemon Catcher with Counter Catcher or more Boss's Orders. Looks pretty solid though
