A control deck lost to time. I remember when these Floatzel with the Floatify attack first came out in brilliant stars. reminds me of the older more complex control deck where made. The struggle with these decks is that they are highly skill-intensive despite consisting entirely of commons. you'd have to dedicate serious time to improving decks like these to find out their usability, while other control decks that have been solved like Bird Box (pidgeot control) and Blocklax

The struggle with these decks is that they are highly skill-intensive despite consisting entirely of commons. you'd have to dedicate serious time to improving decks like these to find out their usability, while other control decks that have been solved like Bird Box (pidgeot control) and Blocklax (Snorlax stall) are tested and proven to succeed. I updated this list to the modern day, but I'm not an expert and left it open for people who want to try.

Dinotology   Technical machine: evololution will help, other than that this is a great deck!

Thanks for the suggestion Iplaylostbox, I considered it, but it would require cutting Irida for Arven which is worse. I think as long as Irida is still legal it will be a much better fit for floatzel. But it did make me reconsider bibarel and I went with the Dudunsparce engine. That way I will always have a pivot and a way to play around control mirror. (I also think dudunsparse will get a lot better when hyper aroma comes out.)
