I like that there's a Hands in there, but the decks that really don't like it usually have ways to take it out before you can use it because of the time it takes to set up. I know if I was playing against this and you benched and powered up Hands, I'd smoke it with my Scream Tail in a second. In that match-up, you'd probably be better off sniping with the chomp. I will say that setting things up to KO with hands later is a good idea.

I like where this is going, although this variation of Iron Hands is a lot more convoluted. In order to get it fully set up, you'll need to have set up garchomp, have a lightning energy attached, and have 3 fighting energy in the discard pile. While not impossible, it seems hard to pull off consistently. The rest of the deck looks fine, though.

I am generally running this with the Garchomp/Lucario lines, but this was an experiment. Agree that it's difficult to get hands in the correct position, but the math works out where 160 from garchomp and 120 from Hands/Terrakion kills a lot of things, all else the 160 + 240 from Groudon can clean up

1 VIP shows up in a ton of other Irida decks, and going second you can pretty reliably find it with Irida/Arven.

Going first means you can rare candy garchomp turn 2, going second looks to use the TM evolution to get the ball rolling. The Arven/2 copies of TM Evolution/Town Store make this very feasible. But I will admit if you don't hit it you slow down quite a lot
