Start by using quick, efficient Hydro Landers to spread damage, while using Sonic Dive to take out weakened threats. You also have a lot of midgame options at your disposal that you can power up with Hydro Lander like Ting-Lu and Iron Hands. Then, finish out the end game with a big Amp You Very Much, Sonic Dive, or an Arrogant Impact. People are sleeping on this deck, and it will get even more aggressive tools in Temporal Forces like Raging Bolt ex and Drilbur to apply more early game pressure.

As for this deck's matchups, it usually needs an Amp You Very Much, sometimes two, to beat Gardevoir. Miraidon is a terrible matchup, simply because it can one-shot Garchomp ex, while this deck relies on it taking a few hits before going down. Luckily, Miraidon is in a bit of a decline, helping this deck's matchups. Lost Box again relies on Iron Hands, simply to avoid getting destroyed by their Raikou, opposing Iron Hands, and Roaring Moon on a Garchomp. For the Zardy matchup, the game is usually about landing two Hydro Landers on two Charizard ex, bringing it down to just 10 HP. This is where Hawlucha comes in. Boss a Rotom V, then use Flying Entry to take a double KO on both Charizard ex, and using Ting-Lu to sneak in a six-prize turn. This convoluted combo is extremely tricky to pull off, but you can do the Flying entry play on one Charizard instead and use Ting-Lu to two-shot a Charizard, or Iron Hands to take out a Charmander. Lost Giratina can one-shot Garchomp, but you can easily Hydro Lander away after Star Requiem and tank and Cheryl their Lost Impacts. Again, Iron Hands is huge here, to get an Amp You Very Much on a Comfey or weakened Giratina.
