Gardevoir ex: The Most Consistent List

Gardevoir is my favorite new archetype so I went ahead and tested out a bunch, my goal was to make it the most consistent possible. 

The fancy tech cards didnt make much sense to me because it really boils down to sequencing favorable prize trades. 

Match Ups. 

Miriadan: pretty good honestly because they are all multi prize pokemon. Conserve your pal pad so that you can cycle boss/serena to KO the pokemon you need to at the right time. 

Lost/Giritina: selection bias but ive done

Match Ups. 

Miriadan: pretty good honestly because they are all multi prize pokemon. Conserve your pal pad so that you can cycle boss/serena to KO the pokemon you need to at the right time. 

Lost/Giritina: selection bias but ive done pretty well with them. I dont use mew if I dont have to so that it doesnt get sniped, and immediately start to apply pressure with gardevoir ex. build up another gardivoir ex in the background because they will have to use Giritina to knock it out. 

Also when ending on turn 1 whenever possible, end with Greninja or Zacian so that you can survive a cramorant hit, and start the favorable prize trading. 

Lost Box: Pump up gardi ex with minimal damage on it (attach for turn/zacian/shining arcana), skip the shining arcanas and power up more ex's and just plow through their baby attackers. avoid mew again if possible and collapse if you can (take out mew or greninja if you have enough energy already). 

Lugia: A lot comes down to if you can set up nicely, it doesnt necessarily need to be turn 2, but you'll be fighting your way back up. Temple of sinnoh is good, but if possible (and early game) start with collapsed stadium to make lugia player make wierd decisions. This can set up a boss KO on their tyranitar, etc. Also you want to try to boss KO tyranitar obviously because it can one hit KO your Gardi Ex. 

In the early turns, use zacians ability to power up a ralts, evolve that into a shining arcana gardi. you'll want to attack mostly with shining arcana gardis to ensure favorable trades, only using zacian for lugia & end game if possible. 

Mew: 
This matchup to me feels like the hardest since I opted for no sky seal stone or drapion. This match up makes me want to add two temple of sinnohs instead of the old cemetery

I might test that out (tangent: but old cemetery helps math more then you might assume, there are many situtations where you would have been one energy short of the one hit ko but since you already had that damage on your opponent you get it)

Either way this match up sucks, and just be prepared to play your heart out. Unless I am missing something, please lmk. 

When I play, I try to blitzs through the deck and boss/serena genesects or mews. ignoring the vmax. 

Overall I think this deck is actually really good. It does take a long time to make decisions and game actions so in tournament play just be careful with time. 

Now that locals are back feel free to test it out.

Cards to consider testing with. 
- another temple of sinnoh
- sky seal stone (maybe drapion too)
- manaphy (makes lost box harder without)

but i really like just the consistent gardi and complex sequencing this deck makes you explore.
