Thanks so much for trying out this format! I imagine cards like Battle Compressor being commonplace if given the option. This deck looks like a menace if BC were standard lol.
CountyGibbon798 yeah, also things like the unown that lets you draw could be cool, or special charge in lugia.
I honestly do predict battle compressor will be coming back as an ace spec cards next year
Marco_Ne There's all sorts of things that can be done here, and that's why I'd like this to be more well-known to see what others come up with! I'll probably make some more of these types of decks in the near future.
And yeah, Battle Compressor being an ACE SPEC card would be unsurprising. Woudn't it also retcon the previous one due to the ACE SPEC version being a newer reprint? Or it might not, because the old one is considered to be "Team Flare Gear," which is important regarding small text on the cards. Who Knows?
CountyGibbon798 I think that if cards like vs seeker, battle compressor, and bicycle are reprinted the old printings might be allowed but just in casual play. I do think it's possible that they reprint very good expanded cards as ace specs, just like they did the first time around by reprinting computer search from base set
