Frosmoth (Temporal Forces) looks more reliable for stopping the opponent from attack as sleep can be avoided with Ancient Booster Energy Capsule (Temporal Forces) or Therapeutic Energy (Paldea Evolved) apart from that I feel like Eri (Temporal Forces) to discard potential switch cards and Spidops ex (Scarlet & Violet) for increasing the retreat costs would be decent in a snom based stall deck. Usually to stop the opponent from retreating if they are paralysed or asleep and obviously trainer cards ignore that fact so something to discord the item cards used for it like eri helps, but its not fool proof most likely want to run multiple Counter Catcher (Paradox Rift) considering you will stall more than knock out the opponents pokemon. I would probably not run 4 nest balls for 2 Mew ex (151) I feel like some ultra balls would be better. Out of the two conditions to mess with the opponent paralyzed usually is the worse one which is also why most pokemon that paralyze only do so if you win a coin flip so you can just keep the opponent locked. IIRC paralyzed stops attack and retreat for one turn so only with a switch or some status healing they can recover from it before your next turn.
I Think Froslass (Silver Tempest) is one of a couple pokemon that actually has a guaranteed paralyze linked to a condition you can do each turn, but I don't know how useful that issure with enough Pal Pad (Flashfire) and Pokégear 3.0 (Scarlet & Violet) you can kinda keep it up, but I feel like simply blocking their attack with the Frosmoth I linked earlier and then throwing their retreat item cards away as well as increasing their retreat costs sounds more reliable than trying to paralyze stall them.
Another different Deck I used to play with actually does something very similar it stalls with Venomoth (151) and Spidops ex (Scarlet & Violet) venomoth blocks the item cards to switch out and with the confuse maybe also the attack if they have something in front that can attack and the spidops stops the normal retreat route. Its a very slow and annoying way to win, but it certainly works. Biggest issue I had was getting spidops bossed out to stop me from continuing the chain or the pokemon I was poking over and over dying.
