PAR ex deck 13/20 (Or deck 0.65. I'll stop now)

Enjoy the golden string cheese! I'm choosing to run Kirlia in this deck rather than Scizor for the extra draw power but that's another option. Other than that, this list is pretty straightforward. Or, if it's not, I'm sure you can find another Gholdengo list made by someone who's good at describing their decks.

Feedback is welcome if you have any.

Before coming here, I tested a few ideas, and I ended up really liking something close to 'Gardevoir but with 2 Gholdengo and 3 Metal energy.' Anything that has discard+draw (like Kirlia) I usually play Energy Retrieval anyway, so I swapped a few of those for Superior ER. I feel like having Gardie as a backup atta kernel works really well, because you'll have a couple of big swings with Gholdengo but at some point you might run out of retrieval options, at which point you evolve the Kirlia that you're running already anyway, into Gardevoir and Gardevior ex, and start using those. I think I may have played against this deck with my own version, because I didn't see Gardevoir. I ended up taking that match because we both ran out or retrieval, but I still had Gardevoirs to use.

That's actually pretty clever! I know most people use Scizor (Obsidian Flames) to reduce the need for energy retrieval cards but I'll be sure to test out both options and see which is more fun / works better
