Deck Primer

This month's premium battlepass on PTCG Live includes a 2-2 of Gholdengo and most of that tou need for a Gerdevoir list. I scrapped the Gholdie deck as soon as I got it, to build from scratch, and then net decked a Gardie list. I wasn't sure I wanted to get th premium pass this month, but after I pulled a Gardie ex I decided that it would be worth it. As always, I love advice, and am open to recomendations.

The idea for this deck is to go second, which makes Arven+Pass easier. Get the Kirlia set up as fast as possible and then draw a bunch. Exp. Share goes to your off-Gholdengo, so that you have much energy as possible available to attack with. Also so the Arven doesn't feel like lost value.

The Gardies and the Gallade are more for situational support; you want to keep as many Kirlia as possible, but you may need other attackers and this gives you room.

R Greninja is actually there more for its attack than for its ability. Roaring Moon ex has 230 hp, or 290 with the Ancient Booster. If your opponent uses Frenzied Gouging, taking a ganunteed KO and putting you behind, you can use the Greninja to hit it for that exact 90 to KO, as well as put 90 on a different Moon. This makes it harder for them to use their attack, as it will KO them as well.

I know I don't have a stadium bump, or any switching cards, but I need to test this before I can say what is expendable.

Okay, I swapped the Ionos and Super Rod with Miriam, that card works really well with this deck. Also, if you see anything that I could cut to make room for Forrest Seal Stone, I'd appreciate it.

After resting, I decided to modify my Gardie list to include the Ghopdie, and changed the supporters to better fit.

Why did you comment 6 times on your own deck?

NoGoodNames avatar

Because I can, and it makes people look at it because there's comments

Another idea I have is to include Gholdie in Chein Pao, as a mirror counter.
