Glaceon ex

Glaceon ex has two attacks but the one we’re really interested in is the Euclase attack. Although it requires a rather random assortment of energy in order to get this off, this deck runs plenty of energy acceleration options to make this possible. With Iron Valiant ex, however, getting exactly 60 damage onto a Pokemon is relatively easy to do. Every time Iron Valiant ex switches to the active, you can place two damage counters on a Pokemon. 

This also makes having plenty of switching cards available to make this possible. 

For this strategy, I really like the Surfer supporter we got in Surging Sparks for this strategy, giving you a card that not only lets you switch your active to the bench but one that also allows you to replenish your hand. Otherwise this deck really runs the gamut on switching cards from Switch Cart to Switch, to Prime Catcher and even the handy Future Capsule card that grants your Iron Valiant free retreat.

Glass Trumpet is a pretty undervalued card for how potentially strong it actually can be. You can use it to put any basic energy from your discard onto up to two of your benched colorless Pokemon. This works because you whould easily manage to bench your Eevee. Use Glass Trumpet to power them up and then evolve them the same turn using Boosted Evolution. 

Crispin is just a solid card for any deck like this that needs more than one different type of energy in order to get an attack off. Because it uses up your supporter slot for the turn, you probably won’t be playing this too often in the game which is why I’ve only included two in my deck. But it could easily change the course of the game when you manage to get it off.

Lastly, you have Palkia VSTAR. While you’ll have to evolve Palkia VSTAR first in order to use it, Star Portal is a very effective ability, letting you accelerate energy not only onto your Glaceon ex but also onto your Greninja ex to take multiple KOs in a turn or even onto Palkia VSTAR itself to take advantage of the formidable Subspace Swell.

Although a tricky deck to play, it’s nonetheless very effective, making Glaceon ex a very attractive attacker post Prismatic Evolutions for those daring enough to take on this challenging build!
