Deck Primer

GLC Fire High Energy Deck centered around Charizard and its Burn Brightly Ability.
I call Decks containing Pokémon with such Abilities "High Energy" Decks since 1 Basic Energy provides more/higher energy than usual.

Game plan/-play:
1) Start/Early Game:
-> Most important thing is to get Charizard into play as fast as possible. Therefore, Dawn (get Charmander & Charizard + any Stage 1) + Rare Candy or Technical Machine: Evolution + Wally + any evolution tutor card can be used

I call Decks containing Pokémon with such Abilities "High Energy" Decks since 1 Basic Energy provides more/higher energy than usual.

Game plan/-play:
1) Start/Early Game:
-> Most important thing is to get Charizard into play as fast as possible. Therefore, Dawn (get Charmander & Charizard + any Stage 1) + Rare Candy or Technical Machine: Evolution + Wally + any evolution tutor card can be used to get it online as early as turn 2.
-> If possible try to get Fennekin into Active Spot for your first attack (Call for Family). Then, switch it back to the Bench and try to evolve it into Delphox as soon as possible. Delphox is the decks main card draw source.
-> Else, get Darumaka into Active Spot in the Early Game. Its Flame Charge Attack supports itself in setting up Darmanitan as an Attacker.

2) Mid-Game:
-> In Mid-Game Darmanitan and Entei are the primary Attackers. They can be set up rather quickly using Welder or Technical Machine: Turbo Energize.
-> Heatmor is probably the strongest attacker since it can also spread a lot of damage to the bench. However, it usually needs the most time to set up (especially if Charizard is not in play). So it's more of a Late Game Attacker.

3) Late Game/Being behind:
-> As long as Charizard is in play, Darmanitan, Entei and Heatmor each are strong Attackers in Late Game.
-> If any of your Pokémon are knocked out, Chi-Yu serves as Revenge Attacker and/or to set up the next Attacker.
-> If Charizard is knocked out get it back in play as soon as possible.
-> If any attackers are knocked out, BlacksmithRaihan and Magma Basin can be used to get the next attacker set up faster.

Disclaimer:
- Comments, ideas, etc. are welcome!
- All my decks are mostly built around a theme and built for fun games in the local GLC friends group and LGS.
- Since I'm not a competitive player, this deck it's not meant/recommended for GLC tournament play.
- All my decks have been built/are organized on limitlesstcg.com beforehand and have been tested in https://ptcgsim.online/ and games against friends. They have gone through a lot of changes and I compared them with decks from other players (GLC tournament decks, pokemoncard.io, cardboardwarriors.net, etc.) before I upload them. So I think they are okay as they are.
- However, I'm still open to recommendations for cards that fit into the deck's “theme” and can improve it.
- My decks are subject to change as I update them regularly when new GLC legal sets/cards release.
