Ancient Box + Mill

Im back eariler than I expected because I felt I should make a deck on the new snorlax stall, albeit a funner and more active version of that deck in my opinion. You may have noticed though that this isn't really a specifically milly deck as its got the likes of roaring moon and koraidon that you'd see in ancient box, the reason being that I really don't see why you shouldn't use them in combination with great tusk. You may have noticed though that this isn't really a specifically milly deck as its got the likes of roaring moon and koraidon that you'd see in ancient box, the reason being that I really don't see why you shouldn't use them in combination with great tusk. Great tusk comes in handy against pretty turboish decks like literally any ancient deck that can hide behind booster capsules to delay your kos while your ancient attackers can kill decks that are harder to mill whether it be because they just don't draw many cards or that they're able to replenish their decks with stuff like Iono which is pretty common in about 80% of decks unless you somehow mill most of them. That doesn't mean that great tusk is entirely usless however as being able to discard some of their deck can prove useful if you end up discarding the right cards which makes for some disruption to assist your attackers. ![TOTAL YAP BEYOND THIS POINT READ IF YOU HAVE TIME TO SPARE]! It's not even like switching between either win con is hard as you have switch cart to switch on demand as well as pretty easy setup so even if you don't get the desired attacker you can still at least utilise them. This deck much like every ancient box deck does have issues though such as the fact that if you don't get the right supporters when you need them you are stuck until you find one which is particularly hard if that happens when you are in the early turns since the deck needs aggression to keep ahead and great tusk needs the supporters to mill turn after turn. This is an issue that will probably plague until maybe the next set or the one after but for now you just have to accept those moments where you think "its concedin time" when you ain't got that sada you need to win, or you lose because your ancient supporters bugged out and didn't apply to great tusks ground collapse attack because they didn't have enough cards in your deck. (Trust me thats something thats happened twice in the past so be aware that you may run into that issue if you dont have enough cards (this only applies to ptcg live though.))

Hopefully this is the last ancient box esc deck I make since ive now made 3 of these things in a relatively small time span though I won't be making anything on turbo hands or the more popular decks as I just don't use them very much compared to fun little decks like these which have had surprisingly good results in Asia.
