Dont't be afraid to discard whatever you need to get Mega Abomasnow into the active with 2 energy. Since Hammer-lanche is going to discard your top 6 cards, just keep using it until you almost deck out. Kyogre fills your deck back up with energies then,

Kyogre fills your deck back up with energies then, and the longer the match, the harder you hit with Mega Abomasnow. You want your opponent to have to knock out 2 Kyogre, and 2 Mega Abomasnow for maximum usage.

Trainer Strategy:

Carmine, ultraball, and cycling road are used to stack the discard with water energies for Kyogre. Raifort is used to prediscard non energies if you need to hit hard with Mega Abomasnow (keep the energies, discard anything else). Surfer and Surfing Beach allow you to swap in and out between your two attackers. Good luck getting the Heroes Cape, but don't count on it. Everything else is just support(Lana, Lillie, Iono, Boss).
