The deck is based around quick set up, big damage numbers to bench and active while stalling.

get kirlia's out quick to help discard all unwanted cards and draw, Greninja to discard energy to help draw cards & accelerate them back on to Pokemon with Gardevoir EX. Zacian is nice if you can get it on the board turn one. Whimsicott and Banette are good at holding tools, special energy and item cards in your opponents hand. Whimsicott can take easy prize cards with its VStar power onto their bench.

When using Banette EX there is also acerola's Premonition in the deck to help detect on if you can stall longer or go for prize cards this turn.
