Counter Catcher is much better than Custom Catcher here, as blowing up your Dusclops cards gives your opponent Prize Cards, by extension activating the cards. I'd also use Mew ex to double dip with Kricketune and act as a free retreat pivot, and have Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex as a backup attacker if you wind up going second. It works for similar reasons to Counter Catcher. Rescue Stretcher should also be considered, as you can recylce resources that are often discarded, offering more flexibility.

Bloodmoon makes a lotta sense, lost a lot of matches being forced to go second. Counter catcher should prob help for this cause too like you said.

Custom Catcher is for draw. Not for gusting, thus counter catcher cannot replace custom.

I'm gonna be honest, I dodn't really read the first part of Custom Catcher, and it makes sense to be used as a somewhat inferior Bicycle since BW isn't in PTCGL.
