Dhelmise "Hide'n'Sneak" Deck

HIDE ’N’ SNEAK DHELMISE (feat. Slowpoke+Slowbro)

• Objective is to get at least 4x Pokémon with the Hide’n’Sneak Ability into your discard pile to activate Dhelmise’s 170 attack for just 1x Psychic Energy. Hitting for only 170 damage is not a lot, and you usually need to take two-hit Knock Outs, so get ready some Boss’s Orders.

• Use Black Belt’s Training and Gladion’s Final Battle (requires to be last card in hand (see Naveen or Basic Slowpoke)) to deal extra damage.

• Banette is a great early setup Pokémon, as the Puppet Pull attack lets you search your deck for any card (look for ones that let you discard cards) while doing 80 damage.

• Poltchageist and Sinistcha are mostly in there as cards to dump onto the discard pile.

• The Slowbro line is there because the Basic Slowpoke’s “All-You-Can-Yeet” attack enables you to discard as many cards as you want. The non-Mega-EX Stage 1 Slowbro does have a 1x Psychic Energy attack “All Out” that if you have no cards in your hand, lets you do a whopping 210 damage. The Mega Slowbro EX is really just in there for fun.

• Jynx is there just for fun, but also because the “Intense Kiss” attack which on the next turn discards (not knocks out) the opponent’s active Pokémon which forces the opponent to switch in whatever is deemed a disposable card.

• Tons of trainer cards only go into effect after discarding some cards (so dump those Hide’n’Sneak Ability cards): Gwynn, Prism Tower, Naveen, Ultra Ball and Earthen Vessel.

• Once you have 4x Hide’n’Sneak Pokémon in the discard pile, you could switch out the Prism Tower Stadium card with the ACE SPEC Neutralization Zone which prevents any attacks from EX Pokémon (including Mega) done to your Pokémon without a Rule Box. Fun Fact: The Hide’n’Sneak Ability prevents all effects from attacks done to your Hide’n’Sneak Pokémon.
