Trying to make Ho-Oh work.

Hello everyone! I am excited to share with you my first deck here self made deck! I hope you like it and want to try it out!

The General Idea:

The general idea is to utilizie Arceus's V/Vstar Trinity Charge/Nova to quickly attach energies to Ho-Oh.

The Set Up:

Rotom is a great way to quickly get cards in the early game. We want to go first if possible and the best scenario is having Arceus on the active spot turn 1 with a Double Turbo Energy attached to it and Rotom on

We want to go first if possible and the best scenario is having Arceus on the active spot turn 1 with a Double Turbo Energy attached to it and Rotom on our bench to draw us 3 more cards. When Arceus is ready, all we need is Ho-Oh on the bench so we can attach energies to it from Arceus's Trinity Charge. Next turn or the same turn we hopefully have attached all 4 (one manually from your hand) necesseary energies to maximaze our damage output. This lets Ho-Oh do 220 damage and then 30 extra for every additional unique Energy Type. Tools are be used to give Ho-Oh more hp and damage.

Lost Zone Idea:

Let me know what you think and please don't hesitate to come with ideas and suggestions that can imporve the deck. I am also working on a similar deck but instead of Arceus as our Energy supplier we use the Lost Zone until we can attach energies to Ho-Oh with Mirage Gate.

Thanks!

this deck is great, but people don't really use protective goggles as it is usually not useful

Yes, you're correct. This is an older version of the deck. I just haven't updated it because I haven't found too much success yet. Hi-Oh is just too easy to KO.

Bravery Charm or Prime Catcher (to disrupt oponnent) might work. Pidgeot ex and Kingambit ain't gonna work. Remove them (with candies) for bibarel line with skwovet. Works way better. You also might want to run a radiant, what about radiant zard? Energy lotto, professor turo's scenario, cancelling cologne , protective goggles aint effective enough. WHat about more iono and nest ball?

Funny you should mention that. I've removed Kingambit and Pidgeot and also added bravery charm, haha! I should update the deck list.

Yes, I think more Ionos could be good. I have Loto right now in my build.

Radiant Charizard is a good idea! I will do some changes right now. Please feel free to leave further comments on how to improve it.

Thanks!
