Use Houndour to accelerate your energy onto other Houndours. Use Energy Switch turn 2 on a Houndoom ex to start attacking early or switch into Overqwil and start hitting for 120 for 1 energy.

Clavell helps you fill your bench with Houndours but can also find Moltres late game or Hoopa if you're short energy, Worker deals with annoying stadiums, Boss can trap an opponent with a basic Pokémon which Houndoom ex is great against. Klara is an excellent combo with Moltres late game to put 2 energy

Hoopa is included in this list as an option to help Overqwil attack on turn 2 if Houndour isn't drawn. Moltres is included as a late game option if your opponent is ahead but also accelerates you into Overqwil early if your hand is full of energy.
