This ⯟ Pokémon leads a pack of tricky allies. Match your Pokémon’s attacks against the opposing Pokémon you’re facing to find success.

Moonlight Mischief
Houndoom ex has two amazing attacks. Evil Claw does only 90 damage, but if you use it against a Basic Pokémon, that Pokémon can’t attack during your opponent’s next turn. Hound’s Fang does an incredible 220 damage, which can take out most Pokémon, but be careful with its effect. Houndoom ex itself takes 30 damage when you use this attack, which can put it in range of a Knock Out in only a few turns.

•    Another Houndoom?! This deck includes a couple copies of another Houndoom. While Houndoom ex is skilled at attacking your opponent’s basic Pokémon, if your opponent has an evolved Pokémon in the Active Spot, you might want to use the other Houndoom instead. Its Daring Strike attack does 120 damage to a Stage 1 or Stage 2 Pokémon for only 2 Energy. Seviper has a similar attack.
•    The Morpeko Gambit: Morpeko has a fun Ability and attack combination that lets you get in some early damage and then pivot quickly to your more powerful Pokémon. Its Energizer Wheel attack does 70 damage for 2 ⯟ Energy, but you also must move those Energy to another of your Pokémon as part of the attack. While that may seem like a drawback—because Morpeko won’t be ready to attack during your next turn—it can be a big advantage. Move those Energy to a Pokémon with a big attack, then during your next turn, use Morpeko’s In a Hungry Hurry Ability to retreat for free and bring in your big attacker!
