It's time for budew, and here is a funny way to play it pure. Obviously the early game is gonna be a lot of item locking, and once your opponent takes a prize card use counter catcher to gust up a useless mon (and if there isnt one use a flute to put one out) then put down wasteland and attach gemstone to give it a big retreat with no switches! This is also what the latias is here for, since the wasteland and gemstone will give your budew a retreat

Obviously the early game is gonna be a lot of item locking, and once your opponent takes a prize card use counter catcher to gust up a useless mon (and if there isnt one use a flute to put one out) then put down wasteland and attach gemstone to give it a big retreat with no switches! This is also what the latias is here for, since the wasteland and gemstone will give your budew a retreat cost of two you need the latias to give it free retreat again. There are also some matchups where your opponent only plays latias, so mawhile just wins the game. While item locking you want to spam eri, and sisters to remove any good items, or rotom to obliterate your opponent's hopes and dreams of ever setting up. Eventually, after you opponent runs out of stadium outs you can play down the ace spec (zone) and loop skwovet to deck out your opponent and win! Have fun item locking!
