Deck Primer

Hydreigon Ex / Xatu deck that focuses on keeping the board state flexible with options and card draw. Tends to work well in slower matches but can use Toedscruel's versatility to restrict decks that depend on discard retrieval.

Briar may be worth adding for additional clutch plays but relies heavily on Hydreigon set-up and card draw (which are not out of the question with Fez and Mew but difficult to guarantee).

so many techs!

i play this deck with azelf and neo upper energy, trying to lean into spamming obsidian and having that 1 prize offset option in azelf. great list!

Thanks! It can can get going pretty quickly and there are a few cards you can swap in (like Budew, Briar, Azelf, Toedscruel Ex, or Counter Gain - for the sneaky three energy attach with Crispin, Xatu, Energy Attach -> Rare Candy Obsidian).

Just trying to find a way for Hydreigon to work in a very Dragapult leaning world haha
