Why are you running Tatsugiri ex without the energies? It doesn't count towards Dondozo's attack.
KylexHaley , GX, EX, V, Radiant, Alolan, Galarian, Paldean, and ex all count as part of the Pokémon's name. This means: You can play (for example) three charizard and three charizard ex in the same deck, so they count for Dondozo's attack.
ZeroWolf your reasoning is exactly why it doesn't work. You can have 4 tatsugiri and 4 tatsugiri ex in your deck because they are different pokemon, if dondozo counted tatsugiri ex then it would state "tatsugiri cards" or "cards that have tatsugiri in their name" but it specifically states "tatsugiri" only.
