Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX

The Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX deck focuses on attacking with Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX's Max Lance attack which does 10 damage plus 120 more damage for each Water Energy card you discard from that Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX. You can only discard up to 2 Energy from this attack but doing 250 damage is very good in this format. The Quick Shooting Inteleon can put 2 damage counters on one of your opponent's Pokemon. I run 3 Quick Shooting Inteleon in this deck because if you do 250 damage with the Max Lance

The Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX deck focuses on attacking with Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX's Max Lance attack which does 10 damage plus 120 more damage for each Water Energy card you discard from that Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX. You can only discard up to 2 Energy from this attack but doing 250 damage is very good in this format. The Quick Shooting Inteleon can put 2 damage counters on one of your opponent's Pokemon. I run 3 Quick Shooting Inteleon in this deck because if you do 250 damage with the Max Lance attack and use 3 Quick Shooting Abilities, the total damage would be 310, which can Knock Out a lot of VMAX's like Jolteon VMAX, Mew VMAX, and Leafeon VMAX. I also run 2 Escape Rope in this decklist mainly for the Mew VMAX matchup. I can use Escape Rope and then use Boss's Orders to bring up the Mew VMAX that attacked if the opponent used Cross Fusion Strike and chose Latias' Dyna Barrier attack. The Dyna Barrier attack prevents VMAX's from attacking the Mew VMAX. Escape Rope and Boss's Orders is how you can attack the Mew VMAX on the next turn. The main strategy of this deck is to go first, attach to an Ice Rider Calyrex V, bench some Sobbles, pass. On turn 2, you evolve to Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX, evolve some or all of your Sobbles to Drizziles, and attach an Energy via attachment or Melony to the Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX and attack with the Ice Rider Calyrex VMAX. On turn 3, you evolve your Drizziles to Inteleons and that is when you start using Quick Shooting Abilities from the Inteleons. I hope you enjoy this decklist!
