Deck Primer

Ok, been testing this for a little while. Seems to work out a lot. I just added lunatone to hopefully negate path to the peak. That card can destroy this deck.

Sorry for late response, I play-tested and edited this deck several times the last few days. Personally, I love Blastoise so seeing any deck running the EX I'm instantly drawn to it.

Your original build did not contain boss's order, glad that's added. Sad to see lunatone pulled.

I'd recommend an easier way to pull pokemon from the deck that's not using a supporter, once per turn to get a water Pokemon is slow. Cycling through the deck more frequently is helpful to get what you need in the turn, like Iono early game. Items like Capturing Aroma or ultra balls would be a good add as well.  Obviously during mid to late game, you'll want to keep those energies in hand, but these help with getting set up early. Another option to think about is adding a pokemon V to allow access for a Vstar power, even if its not the super commonly-used of Palkias Star Portal. Forest Seal Stone is good for that last ditch effort search for the one card you need (typically late-game retrievals). I attempted it with Lumineon V to help get a supporter and a place for Forest Seal Stone.

Last recommendation is unless going second is the intention, 2 battle vip passes is a waste. Either 4 or none is pretty much the standard. I understand the why but expecting irida in hand turn 1 is super inconsistent.

With these edits, I reduced the energy number to 12-14 depending on lumineon/FSS combo going in.

Let me know what you think. I can follow-up with my changes if you'd like.

Love the comment. Thanks so much for all the input I'm going to take this into consideration. I am having a bit of trouble with path to the peak so I'm considering adding Lugia instead of blastoise, sto get the destroy stadium effect. I would like to see your version of the deck and play test too. I have been able to get to great league but then I start loosing more than winning. Giratina deck is tough.

also, I have changed it in the last few days as well. I'll try and update .
