Search for Gapejaw Bog early, then put many Mankeys, Machomei V and supporting Pokemon on the bench – maximizing the number of Pokemon with a damage counter. This deck would work better with Mincinno or something instead of Wyrdeer, don't you think? Playing 2-2 Bibarel would make this so much better, or even 2-2 minccinno because it can be searched by your level ball.

I didn't consider Minccinno, yet. I chose Wyrdeer because I already have it – and it has no conditions for drawing one card. But Minccinno could also be useful, I agree. 

I am also considering Oranguru paired with the Gutsy Pickaxe to accelerate energy.
