Welcome to the Iron Leaves ex Battle Deck!
In this tricky deck, led by a Paradox Pokémon from the future, you’ll be switching your Pokémon around to the Active Spot, the Bench, and even your hand to surprise your opponent.

Where Did It Come From?
Your opponent won’t see Iron Leaves ex coming. Its Rapid Vernier ability lets you switch this Pokémon into the Active Spot as soon as you play it onto your Bench, without having to retreat. Then you can move the Energy you need for the Prism Edge attack from your other Pokémon to do an incredible 180 damage. Just make sure you have three Energy in play to power it up!

•    Full Bloom: Vileplume can be difficult to play as a Stage 2 Pokémon, but it is well worth the effort. The Fully Blooming Energy Ability that takes effect when it evolves from Gloom lets you look at the top eight cards of your deck and attach any Basic Energy cards you find there—however you like! This will come in handy since many of the Pokémon in this deck need three Energy to use their best attacks.
•    Keep it Healthy: Tangrowth starts strong, able to do 150 damage with its Loom Over attack. However, that damage goes down for every damage counter on Tangrowth. Luckily, its Thicket Body Ability reduces any damage it takes. When it gets low on HP and its attack is weaker, do what you can to get it out of the Active Spot—either with a Switch or by playing Iron Leaves ex.
•    Where Did It Go?: Another of this deck’s tricks is the Supporter card Professor Turo’s Scenario. Putting one of your Pokémon back into your hand has many uses. You can pick up a damaged Pokémon to prevent your opponent from knocking it out on your next turn, to remove any lingering effects on it, or to play it again so you can reuse an Ability. You’ll lose all that Pokémon’s Energy attached, but it’s often worth doing anyway. In a pinch, this card can even be used as a Switch by picking up your Active Pokémon so you can promote a Benched Pokémon.

Use all of the tricks in this deck to surprise and overwhelm your opponent.
