The craziest spread deck to date. Switching Iron Valiant ex out 3 times results in 60 damage- considering running another one to stop Manaphy but Radiant Alakazam should help kill manaphy in conjuction with Gapejaw Bog. Then after removing manaphy, swing with Jolteon VMAX for 100 to the active and 100 to the bench for 1 energy using Elemental Badge. Becasue Jolteon has high hp (over 280 means it won't really get one shot), you can utilize Cheryl to stay on the field for multiple turns. (works becasuse jolteon only uses one energy.) Into matchups like Lost box and Gardevoir ex, (which are the two most popular decks as of 08/18/23), Jolteon is taking two prizes per turn, not counting the additional prizes the Iron Valiants are taking, for an average of three prizes a turn. Duraludon VMAX and Mew VMAX are harder matchups, becasue it is hard for Jolteon VMAX to hit those numbers, but thats what theTing-Lu ex is for. Hopefully slowing down the opponent enough so you can establish a very secure board. If Mew is a huge problem, just add Drapion V! Mew is no longer an issue. Against Miraidon ex, target down the Zeroara on the bench, and squawkabilly ex in the active if they play one. The more often you can boss up lightning weak pokemon the better. I'm hoping the combination of Bibarel and Skwovet is enough draw support, but I am worried about consistency. I'm also worried about bench space because Jolteon, 3 Iron Valiant, Bibarel, and Sqwovet is already 5 bench spots, and there still is Ting-lu, Radiant Alakazam and Squawkabilly. What goes on the bench requires heavily on how the game is going. You will want to have a full bench at all times though. Considering Penny for bench management, but perfer 2 Cheryl over 1 Cheryl and 1 Penny.

Now lets really get into the deck. The reason the combo works so well is becasue the Jolteon VMAX has free retreat, allowing itemless pivots into Iron Valiants, (even if its only once per turn.) Starting Jolteon V is really good, and you can even boss kill manaphy turn one for no energy using one Iron Valiant+ Elemental Badge Jolteon V thunder spear. Also the deck does have some donk potential, with a potential 80 damage turn one going second, or 60 damage turn one going first. Gapejaw bog also doesn't hurt the deck too much, with the heavy count of switch cart played. Again, switch cart is really safe to play because Jolteon VMAX has free retreat. The deck has tons of room for tech options, because it only runs 7 energy. And thats about it. It might have careful math management early on, but its all so manaphy can be killed over and over again so Jolteon can maximize damage.

I have not playtested this deck AT ALL, and am purely therory crafting- so if some card counts need changed, they probably will be once I test it out. I also have no idea how good this is competively, though I am hoping its really good because spread needs to make a bigger return than just rapid strike box. And this seems liket he perfect format to do it too. Everyone has stopped trying to OHKO VMAXs, and Jolteon is the perfect target for Cheryl. More single prizers have been being run, and there still are plenty lightning weak viable pokemon. (squawkabilly, pigeot, palkia, lugia to name a few.)
