Deck Primer

Deck Design:

Unown V is MVP. Why Unown? Well the premise of this deck is quite simple but is actually complex in its running and is designed to fall behind on prizes in the early game and to come back with multiple win cons in the latter game. Comfey & Colress are your targets early game and you can afford to lose prizes whilst adding to your lost zone count to get to 10 cards in the lost zone. Cramorant is your main attacker early game with a 110 damage softner to pokemon who can be picked off

Cramorant is your main attacker early game with a 110 damage softner to pokemon who can be picked off using "lost Mine" or "Aqua Storm" later on. Once at 10 cards in the lost zone (no more no less" the Colress and Comfey are no longer the main targets and this should be your mid/late game set up plays now. Focusing at this point on lost mine/aqua storm set up and heading for that Unown V (if needed) Aqua Storm and Energy Recycler along with Super Rod are thier to absolutely dominate benched EX/V pokemon for those easy K.O for 250 damage provided you have used your Energy Recycler and Super Rod reservations effectively. There are multiple copies of Rod and Recycler due to the nature of the Lost Zone Mechanic as running 1 of's would be damaging to the deck should they get Lost Zoned early on. Unown V is your "last Resort" card for combating pesky decks that stall late game or you just cant get that major K.O on a high HP pokemon thats effectively locked you out with 1 prize remaning. Mirage Gate operates Simply put to power up your Kyogre & Unown V mainly but again offers more in terms of switching comfey and the "Lost Mine" attack. Unown also offers the "forest seal" option for turns you just need that "1 card". Cards such as Giacomo & TM Devolution offer those outs to Special Energy and Mew Vmax decks as well as Charizard ex / Pidgeot ex.

Pro's

- Multiple Win Conditions Mid/Late game                                        -Effective Resource Management

- Quick paced Turn 1 and 2 when popping off                                 - Able to pivot around most of the Meta

Cons:

- Dead draw turn 1 is mainly an Auto Loss & move on                    - Unown V is a 2 prize liability (holding in hand is advised until needed)

- Deck functions to go second, going first can cause issues            - Few Tech cloggers (cards that clog the hand) if the match up doesn't require                                                                                                              those cards such as Manaphy, Jirachi, Giacomo & Penny.

TLDR Summary

Smart plays & thining the deck = Winning.

Tech around match ups and utilize win cons and dont worry to much about falling behind on prizes early game. Plenty of options to comeback mid/late game. Aim for 10 cards in Lost Zone, chip away with Cramorant and go for the big K.O with Kyogre, Sableye and then if required Mirage gate plays with Unown V can secure an Easy Victory.

Enjoy and It's all about the Mirage :P Create the illusion your a standard Lost Zone deck, no spice then hit that 1 prize spice win con every so often <3
