Hi I am Jamison also Jaminator, i am from australia. I have been collecting pokemon cards for 18 years and have actively been playing the game since 2016. I also have a youtube channel, link is above (Jaminator) If i can change the video link later I will upload a deck profile for the zeraora vmax post rotation. This deck is a hyper agressive electric deck Designed to take advantage of the new miraidon ex and electricity generator and professors research. Zeraora vmax hits hard in this format for only two energy, with many decks running only pokemon with abilities. This deck gets pokemon and energy set up very quick allowing for quick prize trades and early game pressure, with a few tricks up your sleeve for sticky situations and multiprize turns.

There is only 6 evolution pokemon in this deck however the zeraora evolutions are optional per game depending on your matchups, which is why 3 ultra balls and 2 incenses should give you engouh chance to get the flaaffy and perhaps a zeraora evolution going.

Main supporter card is professors research, by discarding most of your useless hand you can get through your deck as quick as possible. Most of the item cards are consumable, which means you should be able to burn them before you use professors research for a new hand.

Beach court works for every pokemon in this deck except for zeraora vmax and drapion v, very good synergy here. There is especially good synergy with beach court and electricity generator because the flaaffy ability and electricity generator only charges energy to the benched pokemon and beach court lets you put the benched pokemon back into the active.

12 energy count is great, you have enough energy for electricity generators to get at least 1 energy off, and also enough energy to get rid of with professors research and ultra ball to help the flaaffy generators pump it into the benched pokemon.

- Possible changes to the decklist

if you wanted to take an even more aggressive route you may add in a 4th miradon, swap out the professors researches with arven and try an garuntee a starting hand which includes a beach court, miradon ex, Electricity generator. Arven will let you search for either the electricity generator or a nest ball to get the miradon ex out, and also the forest seal stone to get the missing peice for this combo. You can use miradon ability to pull out any pokemon v and another miradon out to the bench, use electricity generator to charge up your miradon ex and with a single energy attatchment, play the beach court and put that fully energized miradon ex to the active you can attack immediately for 220 damage. This works really well on decks who have basic pokemon of 220 hp or less.

You could swap out perhaps a drapion v for another luxray v, this lets you have a nice paralysis combo going on with the flaafy being able to recharge the discarded lightning energy to your benched luxray v while they swap between active and bench each turn with the beach court stadium. This is great for harder matchups, stalling and is even fine for fighting against mew decks too without drapion v because eventually you will take a knockout with the luxray v.

Iono comes out in the brand new set paldea evolved, and with this deck focusing on being quick early set up and go, iono does a similar job as professor's research by giving you a fresh new hand, WITHOUT discarding the important pieces you may need later on in the game. When this card comes out I will replace ALL professors research with IONO. Late game shuffling the hand into your bottomg of your deck to draw a couple less cards may end up being great too, by shuffling the energies back in you can avoid decking out and electricity generators become  more effective.

If there was a supporter card that let you search your deck for TWO items this would be the most ideal supporter card of choice, as this would let you play your turn out for any situation, however there isn't and the best option we have right now is arven, taking forest seal stone to perhaps let you pick 2 items for one turn.

Matchups and combos ---

Main attacker is zeraora vmax. Usually decks with miraidon ex use it as the main attacker powering it up with regieleki vmax, however this deck uses the miraidon ex occasionally to attack and ability most of the time to set up as early as possible. Zeraora vmax attacks for only two energy and the pulse attack can hit for 180 on most turn 2 decks, as players will opt for using pokemon with abilities. This damage is increased against lugia for weakness keep that in mind. Zeraora vmax also has 320 hp which is a lot of health, making it incredibly difficult for any deck to score a 1 hit KO on it, only 3 exceptions being a fully charged zacian v in the gardevoir ex deck, (it needs 9 energies), a zapdos v hitting you for weakness, or giratina vstar power. There are echoing horns in here which can be used for bossing out and k0ing weak 2 prize pokemon, however they are also in there to increase the power of the zeraora vmax attack by echoing horn out your opponents basic ability pokemon from their discard pile.

Luxray v has an attack for 3 energy garuntees a paralysis, and with most decks not running switching items, this will give you a free turn to set up your next move, perhaps even a big Zeraora Vstar attack.

Raichu V can attack on your first turn going first and can also do big damage with its 2 energy attack. Recommended as a finisher, raichu v can knockout 300 health pokemon by discarding only 5 electric energy from any of your pokemon. This is easier to achieve later in the game when you have one or two flaaffy set up.

Zeraora vstar has one copy in the deck for games when you are up against lost box, gardevoir or any deck that runs evolution pokemon. Most evolution pokemon basic forms sit at 60-70 hp, which lets the zeraora vstar attack one or two shot it. Having a luxray hit something for 120 damage and paralyse it also lets you plan out a zeoraora vstar attack and perhaps even knockout the active pokemon in addition to one or two benched pokemon. Remember the attack does 60 damage, four times, and each time you use it on the active pokemon it also applies weakness and resistance (watch out lugia). Zeraora vstar also gets better with the echoing horns addition to this deck, you are able to echoing horn out pokemon which have low hp, allowing you to knock them out and possibly take up to 1 to 4 prize turn with the zeraora vstar attack.

Drapion v is there for the mew matchup, allowing you to boss out a mew vmax and take a favourable 3 prize trade for your 2 prize drapion v but interstingly enough, it can also attack for colorless energy which means you can use flaaffy's dynamotor to help charge it up in matchups where there are no fusion strike pokemon, or you wish to hit psychic decks for weakness.

Favourable Matchups

- Evolution decks, Arcanine Ex, Spidops Ex, Gyarados ex, mowscarada ex,

- Decks that run a tonne of ability pokemon, Regieleki vmax ect.

-Single prize decks (most of them run abilities or are weak to zeraora vstar power.)

- Decks weak to electricity = lugia vstar, palkia vstar, rapid strike inteleon,

Even Matchups - Gardevoir ex, This deck seems to be pretty evenly matched as you can get similar energy acceleration going between turns in both decks. You will have the upper hand in being able to setup the early game and take some quick knockouts, however having no single prize attackers and mostly 2-3 prize pokemon will put you at a huge disadvantage if you manage to somehow fall behind early. Gardevoir has a single prize attacking gardevoir which can easily knockout any of your pokemon v and miraidon ex, which lets them win a prize trade against you. Utilizing zeraora vstar power as early as possibly in this game will help a lot, if you can use it to knockout any ralts 60-70 that they are using befeore they can set up their gardevoir single prize attackers. Remember the main threat are the ralts and not the gardevoir ex as this pokemon can't actually deal a lot of damage to you. You also have a drapion V which you MAY use to boss KO a gardevoir ex hitting it for 190 damage and for weakness, just remember that most decks are still able to set up another gardevoir ex just as quick so my preferable strategy is to usually get rid of the ralts.

Unfavourable Matchups

Rapid Strike Urshifu, unfortunately being weak to fighting doesn't help, however two other things make this matchup worse, urshifu can knockout your benched flaaffy with rapid flow attack and it also doesn't run more than one or two ability pokemon on their bench at a time, which makes our zeraora vmax attack extremely weak. Playing around this matchup requires some stalling with the luxray v, use of the drapion v free attack and perhaps finish off with zeraora vstar and take up to 4 prize cards by knocking out a vmax and one weaker single prize pokemon with the zeraora vstar power. Raichu v can knockout the vmax urshifu for 6 energies which is a favourable prize trade, 3 prizes for your 2 prize raichu v.

Lost Zone Giratina, It is a difficult deck to play around, you will need to hang onto your echoing horns for this game. The giratina deck doesn't run as many ability pokemon on the bench as it does in regular lost zone box decks. However, one you knockout a couple of comfey or a radiant greninja, you can echoing horn it back later to get your zeraora vmax attack damage up or even echoing horn a couple of comfey and radiant greninja snipe a couple of single prizes with the zeraora vstar attack. Luxray v will also prove useful against this deck, however less so than when playing against rapid strike urshifu because the giratina lost zone deck usually runs a few switching options which will cancel out your paralysis strategy. Raichu V can knockout the giratina v's for 4 energy and the vstas for 6 energy, which is useful since they do not have weakness and you may be struggling to use the zeraora's to deal damage.

I haven't played against any other less popular decks to see how the matchups go. I am also yet to try this deck out in person as i still need to buy the miraidon ex's but online it seems fine.
