Deck Primer

Deck by JM utilizing Giovanni's Charisma to power up some single prizers while simultaenously disrupting the opponent's Active.

The supporter is naturally stronger with Pokemon that can take advantage of Special Energy acceleration. A "optimal" version of this deck would thus likely focus on more powerful Rule Box pokemon, but I wanted to preserve the original vision behind the deck.

Thumping Snore Snorlax + Buddy Catch Gallade make a very good combo for abusing Giovanni's. The Plusle + Minun combo is honestly very weak, but it was the coolest part of JM's original idea so I kept it in. Plusle acts as a very good revenge KO for big double prizers that can outlast Lax's damage output, and Minun adds extra damage counters with Buddy Pulse. Minior is used to counter Iron Hands.

Jirachi + Manaphy covers this decks inherent weakness to spread damage- but you could very easily drop one to run Radiant Alakazam and futher manipulate Buddy Pulse counters.

Since you cannot recover the energy in this deck, it runs a high count of it.

Love what you've done with the deck, try as I might to get the other Charisma Mons (Rhydon and Persian) to work, this just feels a lot better.

Glad you like it. Some further adjustments can ofc be made to make it more consistent. Cutting Minior, Jirachi or Manaphy in lieu of more trainer cards would work situationally based on the types of decks you're facing most often. It was a cool idea and a supporter I totally overlooked.

With Arven, you could get Battle VIP turn one going second, but you'd need a tool to search for or use Irida to get Manaphy and VIP.
