Deck Primer

This build seems to be quite underrated so far in Black Bolt and White Flare due to the revival of Turbo Miraidon ex, but Joltik Box still seems to be more successful so far.

Strategy: Like every other Turbo Deck and mostly every other deck, try and go second. This is important, because your goal is to try and pull of a Jolting Charge with Joltik in order to set up your Iron Hands ex or Pikachu ex. Anyways, be careful with what you Bench as your Bench matters a lot unless you add in

Anyways, be careful with what you Bench as your Bench matters a lot unless you add in Area Zero Underdepths, which will increase your Bench to 8 which also increases Clef's damage output. Anyways, try and get out 1-2 Miraidon ex's to use Tandem Unit, I usually go for 1, though if Area Zero Underdepths was added into this list and is in play, I'd recommend getting 2 out to get your other Lightning Pokémon, 1 Iron Hands ex, 1 Pikachu ex, Joltik, and any other Pokémon needed like Latias ex, Mew ex, or Iron Bundle. Use Iron Hands ex whenever you're going against Single Prize Decks or in the Early Game to take 2 Prizes on Single Prize Pokémon like Dreepy, Ralts, Charmander, Pidgey, Duskull, Munkidori, Marnie's Impidimp, etc. and use Tera Stellar Pikachu ex's Attack, Topaz Bolt, whenever you need to deal high damage on Pokémon like Archaludon ex and so on. Furthermore, Topaz Bolt's Damage can be increased to 330 due to Defiance Band when you're behind on Prize Cards, or to 310 if you replace Defiance Band with Vitality Band, or Pikachu ex can OHKO most Stage Two ex's if you add in Gravity Mountain and if Vitality Band is still in this list, can allow Topaz Bolt to OHKO Pokémon that have 340 HP. Anyways, Iron Leaves ex is here to help against decks such as Roaring Moon ex, Charizard ex, Marnie's Grimmsnarl ex, and pretty much any other Darkness focused decks. Lillie's Clefairy ex helps against Dragon Type Decks, especially Pult being the most common one in the current standard format. Exp. Share helps you get an Energy onto your Pokémon after your Active Attacker is KO'd which can help set up your next Attacker, and Eelektrik, can recover a Lightning Energy from your Discard Pile to attach it to ANY of your it Benched Pokémon, which is really helpful, especially for setting up a Topaz Bolt. Crispin helps set up your Attackers as well such as Tera Stellar Pikachu ex or Mew ex along with many other uses. Picnic Basket was a Tech Card to help against Dragapult ex decks to prevent their spread they used from Phantom Dive. Super Rod is here for recovery as having recovery cards are essential in most decks. Prime Catcher, the ACE SPEC of choice, is a great gusting option and helps you get certain KO's at times and is overall helpful in many scenarios. Iron Bundle is a great Early Game gust card as it can force up a Pokémon on their Bench (assuming that's the only Benched Pokémon), to then let you KO it, though it can also help you stall a few turns if they have a High Retreat Cost on the Bench by itself to then force it into the Active Spot. Galvantula opts as a Single Prize Attacker and like Iron Leaves ex, can also help against Darkness focused Decks, along with hitting threats such as Crustle (DRI) and Mimikyu. The rest of the cards should be self-explanatory for why they are here, so feel free to make any changes or to leave any suggestions!

CTC: There are many cards that work well in Joltik Box, so the cards that I would recommend to add in as any alternatives will be sorted into a list eith a brief description, if there are any cards in that list or any cards you wish to add in of your own ideas/thoughts, cut out the cards you don't find that useful or that don't fit your playstyle, with that being said, here is the list:

Pokémon:

- 1 Genesect (SFA) - Shuts off your Opponent's ACE SPEC.

- 1 Zekrom ex - Great Endgame Attacker when your Opponent has taken many Prize Cards, can deal high damage, alternative to Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex or both could be used.

- 1 Squawkabilly ex - Allows you to get a new hand on your first turn.

- 1 Maractus - Interesting tech card that can stall you a few turns by Corner Trapping them and forcing them to take 60 Damage when they KO it.

Trainer Cards:

- 1 Judge - Alternative to Iono.

- 1 Professor's Research - Gives you a new hand, especially helpful since you may get Low Hand sizes at times.

- 4th Crispin - It's generally recommend to run 4 Crispins, though I run 3 so I can run the 1 Iono that is in this deck while keeping the other cards in this list as well.

- 4th Ultra Ball - Provides more consistency at getting out your Pokémon.

- 1-2 more Pokégears - Makes finding your Supporters much more effective. (I originally ran 4, but I cut it down to 2 for Super Rod and Picnic Basket)

- 1 Night Stretcher - Adds in more Recovery Cards, or an alternative to Super Rod.

- 1 Counter Catcher - Provides more gust.

- Picnic Basket - Helps against Spread Decks.

- 2nd Bravery Charm - Makes more Basic Pokémon of yours Tankier.

- 1 FBEC - Makes Iron Hands ex stronger by making it deal 20 more Damage, which allows Amp You Very Much to deal 140 total which can OHKO Duraludon.

- 1 Powerglass - Alternative to Exp. Share, combines best with Tera Stellar Pikachu as you can recover an Energy after using Topaz Bolt.

- 1 Vitality Band - Alternative to Defiance Band, makes your Pokémon deal 10 more Damage.

- 1 Brave Bangle - Alternative to Vitality and Defiance Band, makes Galvantula deal 30 more Damage allowing you to hav a decently strong single Prize Attacker.

- 1-2 Area Zero Underdepths - Makes your bench go up to 8 when Tera Stellar Pika is in play, helpful since your Bench overflows quickly, and increases Lillie's Clef's Full Moon Rondo's Damage Output, if added.

- 1 Gravity Mountain - Makes Stage Two Pokémon weaker so Pika can OHKO them more efficiently.

Energies:

- 6th Lightning Energy - Cut out Clef and the 2 Psychic Energies for this and other cards.

That concludes the CTC (Cards to Consider) section, so feel free to do whatever you want with this deck, and have a good day!

Edits:

Edit #1: Cut 1 Lightning Energy, 1 Crispin, 1 Picnic Basket, and 1 Vitality Band. They've been replaced with 1 Lillie's Clefairy ex, 2 Psychic Energies, 1 Defiance Band, and 1 Iono. These changes were made as I found better success with this current build than the previous variant.

This deck is still really fun to play with, though it is quite simple to use, anyways hope you all have a good day!

Also Genesect (SFA) could be good

Pe7son Thank you for your feedback! Though, this build is currently outdated as I'm testing many different cards in Joltik Box, but I will consider Judge, thank you. (Genesect is used in my current build I'm testing)

This deck has been updated! I decided to go with this build out of the other Joltik Box builds I had, there are too many cards that make this deck good.
