So now that Arceus V and Arceus Vstar are standard legal, I figured I'd take a look at a deck that could be fun to pilot, featuring Keldeo V at the helm. It was inspired by some videos involving Darkrai Vstar and Dhelmise Vmax, both of which are basically energy matters decks, similar to Shadow Rider Calyrex Vmax. Keldeo V actually has a higher base damage than any of those attackers I just mentioned, with its attack being 50 plus 30 for each energy attached, but does lack some of the built in energy

It was inspired by some videos involving Darkrai Vstar and Dhelmise Vmax, both of which are basically energy matters decks, similar to Shadow Rider Calyrex Vmax. Keldeo V actually has a higher base damage than any of those attackers I just mentioned, with its attack being 50 plus 30 for each energy attached, but does lack some of the built in energy attachment that decks like Shadow Rider have, which is why I think Arceus Vstar could be the perfect pair for it.

I have yet to be able to actually test the deck, this is all theorycrafting, but the ideal way the game would begin would be to run out an Arceus V and accellerate energy onto a Keldeo V, and kinda proceed from there as normal, continuing to grow the Keldeo to eventually have a good chance at taking OHKOs onto opposing pokemon, with a couple rods in the deck to keep the deck from failing after a Keldeo inevitably gets KOed.
