Deck Primer

Been a while since I last uploaded a deck, and a while since i played around with Kingdra ex. I was excited whenever this card was released, but unfortunately it didn't have all too much to work with that I liked. I think now it has some interesting cards that does make it functional, but as for viability in a competitive scene I don't know.

You want to go first and ideally start Delibard and an energy to search for cards that you need to piece together, and at least 1 Horsea on bench. Naveen is for controlled discarding (imo a better Carmine minus using it on turn 1 going first), Judge for hand disruption, Hilda for pokemon + energy search, and Petrel for whatever. Ace Spec of choice is Brilliant Blender to get the pokemon of choice into the discard pile (or to deck thin), 2 copies of Great Haul Net for energy recovery (could go down to 1 to swap for a Night Stretcher), and 1 Call Bell if you do end up going 2nd and don't have a supporter/want to grab something else w/ Delibird  (again, can swap for the Night Stretcher).

For pokemon I included Delibird (again to grab whatever card you need to get going, also helps against item lock), Walrein for it's 1st attack (which is a nice funny; 2 or less energy on the active pokemon means no attack), Aurorus for damage mitigation, Quaquaval for draw, Samurott as a subpar Prime Catcher to either swtich between Mega Greninja exs, or switch back whatever pokemon you want in the active (while also somewhat disrupting your opponent's board state), Mega Greninja ex for the damage counter ability which partners well with Inteleon that just says k/o the lowest hp pokemon of your choice (yours or your opponent's), Carracosta for additional dmg (if needed), Ludicolo for extra HP, and Meowth ex for supporter search.

An additional card to consider is Gravity Stone, since you can attach it either to Walrein or Inteleon in the event that your opponent wants to either avoid the effect of the attack or get rid of them as possible threats. Could also play around with Tome of Transformation to get rid of the 2 prize liability that is Meowth ex. As usual if you have any suggestion please let me know 😁
