Deck Primer

Strategy: Start off getting your HootHoot's, Eevee's and Ogerpon's into play and try to get Leafeon out on your first turn. Noctowl can take advantage of having either Eevee ex, Leafeon, or Ogerpon in play which allows you to get 2 Trainer Cards upon evolution. Fez and Teal Mask are the Draw Support options (mainly Ogerpon as Fez only works if any of your Pokémon knocked out during your Opponent's Last Turn). The ACE SPEC of choice, Sparkling Crystal, does help make Leafeon's Moss Agate much cheaper along with Crispin. Additionally, Briar can help end games letting you take 2-3 Prizes with either Leafeon or Teal Mask. Anyways, feel free to make any changes or leave any suggestions!

This deck feels quite odd so I'll see if I can make any changes to it.

Are there any cards that makes your opponent attach energies to their pokemon to use Leafeon's Verdant Storm attack. I feel like that is the way to play this deck.

LimeLemon avatar

NeonPeace Not sure if there is but Verdant Storm is a pretty good attack if they do have quite a bit of Energy in play.

The only card that comes to mind is Orbeetle (Lost Origin), though that has rotated and would only work in Expanded. You could always run Handheld Fan to attach energy to a useless bench sitter, forcing your opponent to attach more energy to attack and keeping that energy in play when you knock their active out. I think it would probably be better to build Leafeon as a more control oriented deck though, using Moss Agate's healing to deny KOs.

I will say I like your Leafeon deck it is really cool and seems really thought out

Ok so I found something that I want feed back for and it is I am thinking of doing a few baby changes to this deck 1 being take 1 fan rotom away and replace it with a escape board and the second change is instead of two professors research replacing it with 2 bug catching sets how does that sound I would love feedback back on this little tweaks I found to this deck please

Boomland2025 avatar

Last part to add on to my other comment I also took 1 ultra ball away for another boss order

LimeLemon avatar

Boomland2025 Alright then, those changes do overall sound good but 1 copy of Fan Rotom is kind of too low as if you happen to prize 1 it'd be a bit more difficult to get out

Boomland2025 avatar

Ya but the odds of getting bubby bubby and nest ball in hands are high so you can quickly play that fan rotom though see what I see now?

LimeLemon avatar

Boomland2025 Fair enough, though I'd still suggest to keep it for extra consistency but it's your choice and I do see what you mean.
