Deck Primer

The Leafeon VMAX/Leafeon VSTAR deck focuses on using Leafeon VMAX's Grass Knot attack, which does 60 damage times the Retreat Cost number of the opponent's Active Pokemon. You can increase that number of the opponent Active Pokemon's Retreat Cost when you put Galar Mine in play. Leafeon VSTAR's VSTAR Power is the Ivy Star Ability, which allows you to switch one of your opponent's Active Pokemon with one of their Benched Pokemon. You can increase that number of the opponent Active Pokemon's Retreat Cost when you put Galar Mine in play. Leafeon VSTAR's Leaf Guard attack does 180 damage and you take 30 less damage during your opponent's next turn. The main strategy of this deck is to go first, have 2-3 Sobble in play and 2 Leafeon V, attach an Energy card to a Leafeon V and use the Greening Cells Ability to end your turn. On turn 2, this is when you either use Leafeon VSTAR's Leaf Guard attack or Leafeon VMAX's Grass Knot attack or Leafeon VMAX's Max Leaf attack.
