Deck Primer

This is a redo of Legacy deck list # 2. The original was without tropical beach while this one includes it. It is definitely a must have as this list needs heavy draw in the early game to maintain the lock. This list is pieces of some of the best performing lists in online tournaments from limitless.com. In late 2020 and 2021 it seems online legacy tournaments really stopped happening so that is the data we have to base these off of.

Tier: 1ish

Deck Goal: Cycle Accelgor attacks keeping the opponent paralyzed and poisoned. Once you shuffle Accelgor back in to the deck, bring Gothitelle to the active spot to keep the oppenent item locked. Lastly, utilize Dusknoir to move damage counters off of your opponents active pokemon to keep one target in the active spot ensuring they are never able to get an attack off.

Ideal Trun One: This deck contains a ton of pieces however it is most important to establish the item lock as early as possible. You can afford to let the opponents active be knocked out for the first few turns so prioroties accelgor looping (2 shelmet in play at a time) and 2 Gothita incase one gets knocked out in the active spot.

List Notes: Due to the intense amount of moving pieces in this deck it desperately needs tropical beach in the early game. It is okay to miss a few attacking turns as the only attack you will need the whole game is "Deck in Cover". Very rarely will you take a turn where you are not tropical beaching or "deck in cover"ing but in the event you cant gothita is able to put the opponent to sleep. Utilize Mew as an attacker to keep Accelgor out in play. Keep track of key items such as rare candy and tool scrapper as there is only one junk arm in this list. There are only 4 energies in this deck which is sufficient. The goal is to play the whole deck out so every turn you are only drawing pieces to attack. Late in the game your biggest enemy may be an "N" or something sneaky such as a late game seeker breaking the lock potential.

Sorry for the wall of text. I hope to catalog a few lists from the legacy format before it is finished.  Please feel free to critique lists or ask any questions you may have. I am not an expert, but I've been playing this format since its creation and think the first unchanging format for Pokemon in a global online setting needs some love.
