This is my Legacy Deck list #3. I am cataloging decks for a format that will be no more with the introduction of PTCGL in hopes to preserve my own lists that I have used for years.

This is my Legacy Deck list #3. I am cataloging decks for a format that will be no more with the introduction of PTCGL in hopes to preserve my own lists that I have used for years.

Virizion Genesect (also termed virgen) is a dominant deck in this format. It is quick to power up with the legacy inclusion of celebi prime and switching cards. It is not harmed by the popular use of hypnotic lasers due to virizion ex's ability. It is also able to take sweeping knock outs with the use of g-booster. As early as its first attacking turn this deck is able to swing for 200 damage. This is the deck to tech against in most decks and you will see one off cards that are specific to go against it. Often times you will see the sawk in this list being replaced with a reshiram to fight the mirror match. Sawk is very specifically used as a clean up against the ever popular tdk kyeurem (will post list in future).

Other things to note:
* genesects ability was really the only consistent gusting ability in the format really helping this deck stay dominant.
* this deck had seen play long in to the standard and expanded format due to its consistency
* It was always quite expensive to build weither online or in irl. There was never a time were this was not a solid pick until its rotation.

If they reprinted Junk Arm for the modern Era, I think it'll be a universally great card. Maybe play only 1 or 2, though.

PlasmaFists11  I could definitely see something similar coming back. With the modern ex era, having more readily available access to items like Rare candy could be helpful. In addition the new ruling on tools would take out junk arms access to things like float stone which would make it not as OP as previous formats. However it does have a tendency to make controll decks even more of a nightmare with more "one of" items for different situations.
