Lightning Deck - Triple Threat

Main Threats -

Attach 1 Double Colourless Energy and 1 Double Rainbow Energy to allow you to use both of Iron Hands ex's attacks whenever needed and get prize cards.

Once Iron Hands ex is in play, you can use the other balls like Poké Ball, Nest Ball, and Quick Ball.

Once you get Togedemaru , Dedenne  and Pikachu through any way, use the attacks in tandem.

Threat 2: Togedemaru, Dedenne and Pikachu's attacks are best when used consecutively. Toge Dash lets Dedenne use Dede Short, which makes Pika Strike deal 200 damage. Toge Dash is almost useless unless you use it to permit Dede Short, which also paralyzes the opposing Pokémon.

What's more, they all use 1 Lightning Energy. This is the where we expend 3 Basic Lightning Energy.

After this attack is countered in any way or the opposing Pokémon swapped, you can evolve Pikachu. Raichu (Burning Shadows)'s Evoshock ability will paralyze the new Pokémon too. Raichu's energy needs for Volt Tackle can be met using another Double Colourless energy.

Threat 3: Toxel (Any) can be powerful once it evolves into Toxtricity (Paldean Fates).  Fulfill the energy needs using Special Energies and maybe 1 Basic Energy of Toxticity before evolving so you can attack right after evolution. After threat 2, you will have Togedmaru(Steel), Dedenne(Psychic) and Pikachu(Lightning) to improve the effectiveness of Loud Mix and Leer for more status effects. image

Pokémon Roles

Iron Hands ex (Paradox Rift) - Heavy hitting ex card.

Togedemaru (Silver Tempest) - Use Toge Dash to allow Dedenne to use Dede Short. Deals measly damage otherwise.

Dedenne (Silver Tempest) - Use Dede Short to make Pika Strike more powerful. Also paralyses Pokémon.

Pikachu (Silver Tempest) - Finally, Pika Strike deals 200 damage. Without Dede Short, deals only 20.

Raichu (Burning Shadows) - Evoshock Ability paralyzes opponents when Pikachu evolves into Raichu. Similar to Shock Lock deck strategy.

Minun (Fusion Strike) - If Minun attacks before Plusle, Plusle's attacks do more damage.

Plusle (Fusion Strike) - Good damage for 1 energy, use Rainbow energy.

Shinx, Luxio and Luxray - Side attacker.

Toxel(Any) - To evolve as soon as possible

Toxtricity (Paldean Fates) - Threat 3 attacker.

Yamper (Battle Styles) - Find discarded balls

Energy Strategy

Basic Lightning Energy - Basic energy. Best use for Threat 2.

Double Colorless Energy - Use for any 2:

Toxitricity

Raichu

Iron Hands ex.

Capture Energy - Use as colorless for whichever of the above 3 are still in need of it. Works as Pokéball alternative.

Double Rainbow Energy - Use 1 for Iron Hands ex.

Use the other energy cards loosely.

Main Trainer Strategy

There isn't much variety of Trainer cards, but this is the strategy I am thinking of.

Stadium

There's only 1

Stormy Mountain. I don't think it's important as there aren't many Pokémon cards weak to Lightning.

I put Artazon - Important to develop the multitude of basic Pokémon that are there in this deck.

Item

Balls

Friend Ball - It's a Lightning deck so this will be the way to get almost any Pokémon.

Great Ball - Isn't ideal, but thankfully Yamper can retrieve it once discarded.

Heavy Ball - For Iron Hands ex.

Nest Ball, Pokéball, Quick Ball - Get basic Pokémon fast.

Timer ball - To get Luxray or Raichu cards. (Or both)

Other items

Rescue Carrier, Rescue Scarf, Rescue Stretcher - Loose usage

Team Yell Towel - Desperate regen, keeping Iron Hands ex as a wall without having to retreat it.

Rare Candy - If Shinx can't use Evolutionary advantage, use Rare Candy
