I feel like the point of this deck is to discard energy with skeledridge and then have them do damage to chestnaught V and deal a bunch of damage after taking damage but I'm afraid that's not how it works.

No, the idea is closer too swing really hard with the Naut and then hit them back with the Punch and ability. Great idea, but takes up too much bench space.
