LMZ

LMZ is a stall deck that aims to absorb as much damage as possible while slowly chipping away at the opponent's Pokémon. It uses a combination of Full Metal Wall GX, Metal Goggles and Mallow & Lana to tank and heal, while Lillie's Poké Doll can invalidate entire turns.

This deck classically ran Zamazenta V, which is immune to VMAX Pokémon. I opted to exclude this because in this format, it is only relevant against Urshifu (which is a very favorable matchup regardless) and

This deck classically ran Zamazenta V, which is immune to VMAX Pokémon. I opted to exclude this because in this format, it is only relevant against Urshifu (which is a very favorable matchup regardless) and Eternatus (which can circumvent it with Galarian Moltres V and Phoebe). This allows the Eternatus list to opt out of Phoebe, which was only relevant against Zamazenta (and Decidueye, which is not in my roster of decks) and allows LMZ to run Scizor V instead, offering 2 major advantages: In matchups where disrupting special Energy matters, Scizor only needs 1 Energy rather than 3 to do so, and it can also remove Tools. In other matchups, Scizor deals a crucial 10 extra damage, turning ADP and Mew3 from Zamazenta's 3-hit-KO into a 2-hit-KO if no Big Charm is attached.

This deck is one of a total of 15 decks I've built to play with my friends. It's from a format I call BST+, which is the TEU-BST format we actually had, plus Sabrina & Brycen as well as the Japanese set S5a, which was pushed to CRE in western releases.
